Tombras, a 600+ person, full-service, national advertising agency with a digital mindset, is seeking a Manager, Media Investment to join one of the top independent agencies in North America. This position will be based in Knoxville, TN, with relocation assistance potentially provided.
Responsibilities
- Oversee campaign success, including campaign architecture, optimizations, and measurement.
- Develop advanced media investment plans and mid-campaign recommendations.
- Utilize in-house DSPs (The Trade Desk and Centro) and related platforms/tech-stack across client campaigns.
- Collaborate with the media planning and advertising operations team to audit the consumer journey and confirm proper tagging and tracking implementation.
- Execute comprehensive performance analysis based on platform metrics and data points.
- Support Senior Managers and Supervisors in developing team members from a process and vertical perspective.
- Research and stay up-to-date on technology and trends surrounding media investment buying (DSPs, inventory and data sources, fraud protection, best practices, etc.).
- Maintain strong relationships with programmatic inventory and data vendors.
- Perform other job functions as required by your supervisor.
Requirements
- 3-4 years of experience in media investment buying and planning at a media agency.
- Advanced proficiency in media planning/buying via a programmatic trading platform like The Trade Desk, Basis, or a similar DSP partner.
- In-depth knowledge of integrated channel strategies and concepts.
- Ability to optimize cross-campaigns and cross-platform toward a holistic CPA.
- Experience optimizing inventory, audience overlays, and secondary campaign guardrails to maximize efficiencies while scaling campaign budgets.
- Ability to create advanced media plans with minimal assistance or input from senior personnel.
- Understanding of analytics platforms and ability to utilize them to gauge paid media performance beyond platform metrics.
- In-depth understanding of how other media affects programmatic campaigns.
- Ability to explain complex technical topics in an easy-to-understand, client-facing way.
