Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive schedule strategy for parts, commodities, and services related to production at the business unit and stakeholders.
  • Participate in sourcing strategies in support of business objectives and production schedules, making recommendations for timely ordering and delivery to maintain on-time schedules.
  • Work with program management, planning, and supply chain to develop lead time models and recommend ordering patterns to ensure supplier lead times and internal lead times meet all production requirements.
  • Identify single point of failure for critical components, recommend resolutions to site leadership.
  • Work with Supplier Quality, Incoming Inspection, Supply Chain, and Program Management to develop a team for weekly reviews of quality issues to provide disposition and direction for on-time program fulfillment and overall material flow.
  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for ongoing production supply, inventory levels, and supplier order status in the areas assigned, and develop cost analysis and buying recommendations based on item criticality, lead times, and cost of product as it relates to inventory carrying cost.
  • Work with associated departments to develop/establish inter-departmental Turn-Around-Times and ensure the timely completion of workflow from supporting departments to the next department in the value chain.
  • To ensure timely and accurate movement of Bill of Materials (BOM), Work Authorization Process (WAP), drawings, approval documents, and other documents with established Service Level Agreements (SLA).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, or equivalent
  • 5+ years progressive experience in shipping hazardous materials, planning, and leading people
  • ERP use

Pay

The starting salary range for this role is $87,120 - $130,680. Final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.

Schedule

This role is full-time and located in Parsons, Kansas.
