Manager, Marketing - Epic Records

Responsibilities
- Ownership and oversight for an assigned roster of artists including managing album and song releases, maintenance of campaign timelines, and serving as an always-on partner to the artist.
- Initiate well-thought-out marketing plans with a focus on innovative and disruptive ideas and campaigns.
- Participate in creative planning to create big marketing ideas and ensure a continuous flow of content surrounding each artist.
- Responsibility to set up and maintain project timelines including key dates/deadlines and work across all company departments to keep delivery on track.
- Work closely with the Digital team for direct involvement in Digital strategy & execution across viral & fan engagement tactics.
- Participate in the creation of social and content-based storytelling assets.
- Collaborate closely with the Commerce team to formulate and implement strategies that drive consumption with a focus on lean-forward activity and direct-to-consumer sales.
- Create weekly marketing reports and communicate updates to brief teams on all release information, ensuring results are communicated efficiently.
- Work closely with artists and management, in partnership with Epic Records Marketing leadership, for campaign updates and communicate goals and plans for each release.
- Partner with artists, managers, and all departments to create, maintain, and evolve artist brands.
- Manage the creation and distribution of marketing tools.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of progressive marketing experience in the music industry.
- Passionate music fan able to effectively work across many genres including Pop, Rock, Rap, and R&B.
- Self-starter who adapts quickly to change and can work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Excellent communicator and enthusiastic collaborator who works well with team members, external partners, and senior management.
- Creative thinker with a demonstrated ability to apply ideas strategically while working to a set budget and timeline.
- Proficient with major social media platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Triller, Reddit, and Snapchat.
- Understanding of the DSP landscape and tech platforms.
- Design and video editing skills a bonus.

The anticipated annual base salary does not include other compensation components or benefits. The actual base salary offered depends on qualifications, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
