Manager, Market Intelligence & Commercial Analytics

About the role

This role serves as a key analytical partner to the East Sales organization, translating U.S. power market dynamics into actionable commercial insights. You will monitor regulatory and market developments, support customer conversations with clear analysis, and help shape sales strategy through data-driven intelligence. The position also partners closely with Marketing to develop market-facing materials, campaigns, and thought leadership content that strengthen customer engagement and identify growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a market expert for the East Sales team focusing on U.S. power markets
• Monitor factors affecting retail electricity pricing, including regulatory developments
• Provide analytical support during customer meetings to explain market conditions
• Develop market updates and materials for Sales to use with clients
• Research and identify high-potential commercial prospects in target markets
• Analyze data to identify sales opportunities and market trends
• Collaborate with Marketing to create market-driven campaigns and thought leadership content

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of senior experience in power markets or related fields
• Strong understanding of U.S. electricity markets, especially ISO‑NE, NYISO, and PJM
• Proficient analytical skills with market and customer data
• Experience in prospect research, market research, or sales analytics preferred
• Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with Power BI, SQL, or Python is a plus
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
• Ability to simplify complex energy‑market concepts for diverse audiences

Pay

$110,000 – $130,000 annually
