About the role

We're seeking a Manager, Manufacturing Science & Technology to join our Manufacturing team. Reporting to the Associate Director, Manufacturing Sciences & Technology, you'll play a crucial role in bringing rAAV-based therapies to market by supporting our external manufacturing partners. Key responsibilities include leading technology transfer activities, reviewing critical documentation, and driving process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute end-to-end technology transfer activities from process development through commercial-scale GMP manufacturing
  • Interact with GMP manufacturing, process validation, and tech transfer teams
  • Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Support cross-functional teams and contribute to supply chain risk mitigation efforts

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Hands-on experience in drug substance and/or drug product operations
  • Strong technical background in AAV manufacturing, including HEK293 cell culture and ultracentrifugation-based separation processes
  • Experience with gene therapy regulatory requirements across early and late phases

Qualifications

  • Expertise in drug product fill process is a plus

Pay

$127,000.00 - $165,500.00 Annual

Schedule

This is a fully remote role. Occasional travel for team meetings or events may be required. Candidates located on the East Coast are encouraged to apply.
