Manager, Manufacturing Operations

About the role

JELD-WEN is seeking a Manager, Manufacturing Operations to lead and motivate the team, ensuring safety, quality, production, and training are top priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assures all training is current for reports (i.e. safety, process, quality)
• Sets Group Managers and Leaders to meet production requirements
• Interprets process specifications for team
• Makes adjustments to production as needed
• Works on and assigns out projects to drive continuous improvement
• Audits and sustains processes
• Participates in GEMBA walks
• Develops team members

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Four years related experience and/or training
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge of lean manufacturing process principles
