About the Role
The Manufacturing Engineering Manager leads all manufacturing engineering activities at the Lancaster facility, driving operational excellence through the design, development, and continuous improvement of production processes, equipment, tooling, and CNC programs. This role plans and coordinates manufacturing process design and equipment modifications, manages the Manufacturing Engineering team, supports capital projects and new product introductions, maintains SAP routings, and drives cost reduction initiatives while ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 standards and safety requirements.
Responsibilities
- Follow all applicable ISO-9001 procedures relating to the duties of the Manufacturing Engineering Department and associated manufacturing operations.
- Follow all applicable Departmental and Shop safety rules.
- Oversee all Manufacturing Engineering in Lancaster.
- Create and maintain all manufacturing processes, including:
- Design, selection, acquisition, maintenance, and repair of all production fixturing.
- Design, selection, acquisition, maintenance, and repair of all production tooling.
- Design, maintenance, and implementation of all production equipment methods and operator methods.
- Development, optimization, and maintenance of all CNC programs.
- Determination and improvement of all machining feeds and speeds.
- Maintain all SAP routings.
- Manage and direct all employees in the Manufacturing Departments.
- Assist in capital justification and evaluation.
- Develop new product costing and evaluate make vs. buy studies on existing products.
- Drive cost improvement for direct and indirect elements of the manufacturing processes.
Supervisory Responsibilities
Manages 4 employees and is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Manufacturing Engineering unit. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws, including interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning and assigning work.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from a four-year college or university; and six to eight years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
- Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
- Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
- Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations.
- Ability to apply mathematical operations to tasks such as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Ability to effectively utilize word processing software, spreadsheets, and other custom applications software in a MS Windows environment.

Pay
ITT offers a competitive salary and robust total rewards package, including health insurance, 401(k), short and long-term disability, paid time off, growth and developmental opportunities, and other incentive compensation programs. Specific benefits may vary based on collective-bargaining agreements.
Salary range: $129,100.00 to $193,500.00 plus benefits and potential bonus. The salary offered to a candidate is based on factors such as experience, qualifications, location, and market considerations.
