Manager, Manufacturing Engineering
Job Description
The Manager, Operations is responsible for multiple lines and departments within Plant Operations. The Manager directly oversees one or more salaried supervisors with indirect management over a large group of hourly employees. The Manager is accountable for all production processes to be adhered to and continuously improve the performance in area of scope.
- Participates in the selection, training, and development of new employees.
- Coaches, develops, and supports team members.
- Manages personnel, material, and equipment safely and effectively.
- Maintains production cost, schedules, and quality requirements through the utilization of established manufacturing processes and methods.
- Facilitates floor operations and removes barriers for supervisors and hourly employees to meet measurable objectives.
- Implements and maintains Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
- Engage on machine condition continuous improvement.
- Lead OEE improvement across all areas.
- Serve as a leader, trainer, and coach of lean and TPM principles.
- Exemplify the desired culture and philosophies of the organization.
- Complies with the terms of the labor agreement.

Qualifications
- Required: Associate Degree and/or equivalent experience required.
- Experience Required: 3+ years prior Supervisory experience in manufacturing setting.
- Preferred: 5+ years prior Supervisory experience in manufacturing setting.
