About the Role

As Manufacturing Manager, you will be the driving force behind the Supplies Manufacturing operation. You'll have the autonomy to translate strategic goals into tangible results, shaping the future of production by optimizing costs, methods, and staffing. This is an opportunity to mentor and develop a talented team, innovate processes, and champion a culture of continuous improvement in the manufacturing of industry-leading labels and tags.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead & Develop a High-Performing Team
    • Cultivate a positive and ambitious team culture where employees can excel; guide supervisors and team members to deliver consistent, high-quality performance across all shifts
    • Act as a dedicated coach, identifying development opportunities and creating clear paths for career advancement
    • Own the entire employee lifecycle, from recruiting and hiring top talent to conducting performance reviews and recognizing achievements
  • Drive Operational & Financial Excellence
    • Champion a culture of innovation by identifying and implementing Lean/Six Sigma methodologies to boost efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline processes
    • Take charge of the department's financial health by managing expenses, aligning with budget targets, and making strategic recommendations for future investments
    • Set clear performance expectations and empower your team with the tools and benchmarks needed to meet and exceed production goals and deadlines
  • Deliver on Quality & Safety
    • Partner with the Quality team to ensure products consistently meet the highest standards and exceed customer expectations; guide your team to become experts in our quality promise
    • Collaborate with the Health & Safety team to champion a secure and proactive work environment; hold everyone accountable for safety programs and contribute ideas for improvement
  • Make a Strategic Impact
    • Develop and execute departmental objectives, using data and KPIs to track progress, report on successes to leadership, and drive data-informed decisions
    • Tackle complex operational issues using analytical skills and creativity to develop effective and innovative solutions
    • Serve as a key representative for the manufacturing department on project teams, with opportunities to lead initiatives that have a significant impact on the business

Job Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification
  • Work Experience: 5+ years, including at least 3 years as a supervisor

Key Skills and Competencies

  • Demonstrate leadership, project management, facilitation, and problem-solving skills
  • Sound reasoning and decision-making ability; strong analytical skills

Pay

$96,800.00 - $145,200.00 annual base, plus a performance-based annual cash incentive at a target equal to 10% of base pay. Salary offered will vary depending on location, job-related skills, knowledge, and experience.
