About the role

The Manager Maintenance ensures the functionality of the venue before, during, and after concerts and events. This role performs maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing, electrical work, HVAC systems, and construction to ensure the venue operates at its best. The Manager oversees daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and maintenance projects, assesses venue needs, and coordinates with outside vendors for repairs.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily, event, and regularly scheduled cleaning and maintenance projects.
  • Maintain the venue, including carpet repair/cleaning, painting (interior/exterior), elevator repair, seat restoration, bathroom maintenance, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing work.
  • Train staff on proper use of cleaning and repair tools.
  • Supervise cleaning team and bathroom attendants, including attendance, performance, and training.
  • Develop standard procedures for venue cleanliness and asset upkeep.
  • Enforce department and company policies, including disciplinary action and employee reviews.
  • Coordinate with outside vendors for repair and maintenance; request quotes/bids to determine the best options.
  • Assist with building set props, decorations, and production advancement as needed.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree (4-year) in a related field.
  • 4-6 years of related work experience, including as a maintenance manager in a related industry.
  • Proficiency in cleaning solutions and repair/maintenance techniques.
  • Ability to prioritize workload, solve problems quickly, and handle high-pressure situations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical repair.
  • Highly organized with strong coordinating and project management skills.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Knowledge of the music industry preferred.

Pay

$59,564.55 - $85,000.00 annually. This position is eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.
