Manager, Maintenance Engineering

About the role

The Manager, Maintenance Engineering oversees the maintenance operations and ensures that all equipment and facilities are maintained in optimal condition. This includes overseeing the implementation of preventive maintenance schedules, managing the maintenance team, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance operations and ensure all equipment and facilities are maintained in optimal condition.
• Manage the maintenance team and ensure they meet project deadlines and quality standards.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and reduce repair costs.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and conduct regular safety training sessions.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and address facility-related issues proactively.
• Perform root cause analysis on equipment failures and develop corrective action plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance engineering or a related field.
• Proven leadership skills and ability to manage a team.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and maintenance management software.
