About the role
The Maintenance Engineer Manager role is part of the Global Functions & Enablers team, located onsite in Hopkinsville, KY, USA. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship (H1B, OPT/CPT, TN etc).
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the maintenance/machinists and engineering team.
- Develop, implement, and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all manufacturing equipment.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to support manufacturing operations and process improvements.
- Analyze equipment performance data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement.
- Manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and vendor relationships.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and deliver training programs for maintenance staff on new equipment, technologies, and safety protocols.
- Lead projects focused on equipment upgrades, installations, and plant expansions.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the maintenance department.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Master’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration is preferred.
- 7+ years of combined experience in manufacturing maintenance and engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Strong knowledge of maintenance best practices, reliability engineering, and equipment troubleshooting.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Maintenance * Reliability Professional (CMRP) or Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
- Working knowledge of Lean concepts and other continuous improvement methodologies.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $95,600.00 - $153,900.00. The salary offered within the range may vary depending on multiple factors including job level, geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and in compliance with local wage requirements.
Schedule
The schedule for this role is typically full-time, with standard business hours.
