ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plans, directs, manages and evaluates the day-to-day operations and production of OGCSupport staff.
- Facilitate departmental software needs, system changes and training, including matter management software, panel counsel billing system, among others.
- Oversee handling of all incoming mail for litigated matters.
- Responsible for overseeing all electronic and other court filings and service of documents as needed in various jurisdictional filings.
- Oversee handling of all incoming mail for litigated claims across multiple brands.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Relevant combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- 5 years of experience
- 1 year of leadership experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- PMP Certification preferred, not required.

- Demonstrated leadership and project management abilities.
- Ability to make competent, independent decisions.
- Ability and proficiency in the use of computers and Company standard software specific to position.
- Knowledge of team building and employee motivation theories with the ability to manage employee teams.
- Ability to interact with others to build consensus and get decisions implemented.
- Knowledge of other functional areas; understand impact on Litigation functions.
- Ability to effectively present budgetary and/or cost information and respond to questions as appropriate.
- Ability to establish workflow, manages multiple projects and meet necessary deadlines.
- Ability to perform other assignments at locations outside the office.
- Familiar with laws, regulations, and compliance requirements related to insurance, as necessary.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Directly supervises a varied number of employees in the designated department(s).
- Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
