Overview
The Enterprise Learning & Development team at Capital One is seeking a Learning Business Partner/Consultant to shape and deliver the learning and development strategy for one or more lines of business. This role involves partnering with key business and Human Resources (HR) leaders to design and implement learning initiatives for associates and leaders across the company.
Qualifications
- Experience educating, onboarding, or supporting technical and non-technical roles
- Experience partnering with key stakeholders to identify strategic opportunities and define new initiatives for business impact
- Communicate effectively both written and verbally, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to manage ambiguity, lead through change, and deliver in a matrixed environment
- High level of initiative, ownership, and a customer-centric mindset
- Demonstrated success collaborating with other L&D professionals to drive efficiencies and share best practices
- Apply expertise in adult learning to shape learning strategy and products
- Comfort facilitating and leading training/workshops effectively, engaging at all levels
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 3 years of experience in client facing consulting
- At least 2 years of experience in learning and development
- At least 1 year of experience in project management
- At least 1 year of experience in learning strategy creation
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience advising and influencing leadership
- 5+ years of management consulting experience
- 3+ years of experience in strategy creation
- Familiarity with change management
- Experience facilitating across a variety of modalities including in person and virtual programs
