About the role
As a Manager, Laboratory Project Management at ICON, you will coordinate clinical laboratory operations delivery, resolve issues, and develop team capability. Your focus will include designing and analyzing clinical trials, interpreting complex medical data, and contributing to the advancement of innovative treatments and therapies.
Responsibilities
- Manage the daily activities of the Project Management (PM) team, per the direction of the Director, PM.
- Ensure client satisfaction by acting as the Client's primary escalation point for all matters regarding ICON Central Laboratories' (ICL) services.
- Oversee, manage, mentor, and coach all direct reports.
- Recognize, exemplify, and adhere to ICON's values centered around commitment to People, Clients, and Performance.
- Create a culture of process improvement with a focus on streamlining processes, adding value to the business, and meeting client needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as life sciences or healthcare.
- Previous experience in project management within a laboratory or clinical research setting.
- Solid clinical laboratory operations experience, with the ability to manage competing priorities and develop your team.
- Willingness to travel as required (approximately 20%).
Qualifications
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and coach team members effectively.
- Excellent communication and interactional skills, with the ability to act as a primary escalation point for clients.

Pay
Salary range: $110,520.00 - $138,150.00. You may be eligible for a bonus, stock compensation, and commissions depending on your role and performance.
