Manager, Juniper Product Management

About the role
This position is responsible for the strategic and tactical product management effort for Juniper Payments products and services. The incumbent will own the full product development lifecycle for existing and future Juniper Payments capabilities, including compliance-related requirements. As a core member of the Juniper leadership team, this role reports directly to the Head of Juniper Payments and serves as subject matter expert and liaison to internal and external customers on ACH, FedWire, Instant Payments, and other industry-related topics affecting the movement of funds for businesses and individuals.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the suite of Juniper products and services, including strategy, market position, development initiatives, enhancements, compliance, viability, commercialization, and P&L.
- Lead the analysis and review of product enhancement requests from various sources and oversee the creation of business requirements.
- Serve as an escalation point, both internally and externally, related to assigned products and applications.
- Collaborate with functional areas (e.g., Training, Operations, Information Technology, Administration, and Finance) to develop comprehensive product definitions, objectives, and goals responsive to end-user needs.
- Work closely with Velera’s departments to execute product strategies.
- Identify risks during feasibility studies and development, communicate issues to leadership, and develop market test scenarios for product rollout approval.
- Develop product documentation, procedures, and training for all pertinent platforms.
- Report and update product and solution performance information to the strategic product manager.
- Lead research efforts to analyze required modifications and impacts to existing products and services, communicating changes to affected areas.
- Coordinate and present seminars and training for Velera personnel, prospective clients, trade associations, and other entities.
- Conduct and lead meetings to support the development process, tracking and communicating progress.
- Attend and participate in Velera-sponsored and industry events as needed.
- Serve as the primary liaison to Operational Support departments for assigned products.
- Maintain proficiency in departmental operations to assist as a backup for other products and services.
- Work as a member or leader of cross-functional teams to address development and implementation of new or enhanced products within deadlines.
- Oversee and review mandate and industry product impacts, partnering with marketing to communicate internally and externally on pertinent bulletins.
- Direct and oversee maintenance, mandate, industry requirement, or vendor replacement product commercialization duties with internal teams.
- Maintain, lead, and respond to product-focused servicing ticket inquiries through defined channels.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ten (10) years of combined experience in product management, technical product implementations, and/or business systems analysis supporting technical products.
- Experience with the financial, credit union industry, and core or account processing.

Pay
$105,600.00 - $134,600.00. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
