Manager, ITS Clinical Systems Operations

Job Summary

Under the direct supervision of the Chief Information Officer, this position is responsible for leadership within the clinical analyst team. Serves as project manager for clinical applications and related projects. Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of all clinical applications. Cross-trains with other analysts and rotates on call. Strives for superior performance by consistently providing a product or service to leadership and staff that is recognized as ultimately contributing to the patient and family experience. Recognizes and demonstrates understanding of patient- and family-centered care.

Qualifications

• Education:
• Education Level: Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Information Technology or related field (Required)
• Education Level: Associate's Degree and 3 years of IT systems management experience (Required)
• Licenses and Certifications:
• Licenses and Certifications Details: 5+ years of experience working with EHR systems (Required)
• Licenses and Certifications Details: Healthcare experience (Required)
• Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
• Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Leadership or supervision skills (Preferred), MEDITECH or Epic knowledge (Preferred), Database administration knowledge (Preferred), Experience in inter- and intra-departmental communications (Required), Highly effective and proven customer service skills (Required), Strong problem solving skills, including the ability to analyze problems, determine cause and initiate corrective action (Required), Has a working knowledge of all software modules of the HIS, has in-depth knowledge of selected modules shared with analyst staff (Required)
