Manager, IT Security Engineering
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Strategy: Set and articulate goals and build a high-performing engineering team around those goals. Grow management and technical talent by identifying, crafting, and implementing appropriate development plans.
- Strategic Platform Ownership: Oversee the operationalization, roadmap, and maintenance of critical security platforms, including Privileged Access Management (CyberArk), Vulnerability Management (TenableOne), SIEM/SOC (Palo Alto XSIAM), and Endpoint Security (Cortex EDR).
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Define roles and responsibilities with peer teams. Act as an escalation contact for peer team in IT Security Threat Management/Incident Response for platform integrity, maintenance issues, and enhancements.
- Technology Lifecycle Management: Lead the retirement of legacy security applications and oversee migrations to next-generation tools.
- Operational Excellence: Measure team and process performance through the definition and use of appropriate metrics. Forecast resource requirements (people, money & assets) and manage an operating budget to meet business objectives.
- Security Automation & Engineering: Assist with driving automation processes, enhancing firewall requests workflow, vulnerability platform maturation and other controls as necessary.
Experience, Education, Qualifications, Or Training
- BA or BS in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field.
- 8-10 years delivering information security infrastructure support and related services with a minimum of 10 years IT experience.

- Demonstrated experience in computer security combined with risk analysis, audit, and compliance objectives.
- Vendor Management and relationship experience.
- Strong working knowledge of: Enterprise IT environments and associated systems Privileged account management (CyberArk) within a large enterprise environment. Vulnerability Management Scanning, prioritization, and remediation support (TenableOne/Kenna). SIEM/SOC operations, logging data sources, and automation (Palo Alto XSIAM). Endpoint Detection and Response platforms (Cortex EDR). Enterprise firewall technologies, web content filtering, and DNS/URL management (Palo Alto). Network and web related protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP, IPSEC, HTTP, HTTPS, routing protocols, etc.).
Experience with Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations
- One or more of the following security certifications: CISSP, CISM, GIAC, CEH, Security+, SSCP, etc.

Schedule
