Manager, Security Engineering

About the role

Lead technical work focused on secure, reliable systems and risk-aware execution. Work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. Influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a technology-driven environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Ship code changes and monitor Kubernetes clusters
• Drive remediation of cloud vulnerabilities and maintain audit evidence
• Collaborate with teams to identify challenges and create impactful solutions
• Design and implement technical solutions for enhanced logging and security
• Provide constructive feedback on code reviews and architecture documents
• Actively engage in coding and reviewing with the team
• Conduct 1:1 meetings to support team members' growth and development

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cloud security, particularly with AWS or GCP
• Proven track record managing a security-compliance program (e.g., SOC 2, FedRAMP)
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, GitOps, and autoscaling techniques
• Strong leadership experience within software development for large-scale SaaS products
• Diverse technical knowledge for solving complex problems and mentoring teams
• Ability to dynamically adapt roadmaps in a changing environment

Pay

$180,500 – $270,700 annually
