Manager IT Pillar
About the role
The Manager IT Pillar - Construction requires an in-depth understanding of IT pillar concepts, theories, and principles and basic knowledge of construction-related disciplines. The Manager IT Pillar must apply industry understanding to improve effectiveness, provide guidance, and influence processes and policies for the IT pillar discipline, as well as identify and resolve technical, operational, and organizational problems impacting effectiveness. This role impacts service levels and the IT pillar team’s ability to meet quality and timeliness objectives. Decisions are guided by policies, resource requirements, budgets, and the business plan.
Responsibilities
- Understand business processes and build end-to-end seamless integrations.
- Lead the adoption of new technologies to accelerate software development.
- Develop enterprise standards and governance processes.
- Manage Data Conversions in ERP programs.
- Manage IT programs following the PMO Tollgate process.
- Lead a team of business analysts and system architects.
- Manage enterprise applications support.
- Own and lead the implementation, enforcement, and verification of compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Ensure employees understand their responsibility and authority to effectively implement policy requirements.
- Ensure timely completion of all mandatory training for themselves and their teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in IT supporting EPCI business applications, ERP, Enterprise Architecture, and Technology solutions as a Manager or Lead Administrator.
- Experience with tools such as Hexagon (Octave) – SPC, WorkPacks - Aveva, O3 Solutions, Omega PIMS, Bentley System (ConstructSIM).
- Experience building integrations with Oracle ERP leveraging Dell Boomi.
- Experience working in a global/cross-functional matrix environment.
- Experience developing IT strategy and program execution roadmaps.
- Experience managing budgets.
- Experience in ERP systems implementation and application support.
