Manager, IT & Managed Services

For our client, we are seeking a Manager, IT & Managed Services to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This role will lead a hands-on infrastructure and service delivery function with a strong focus on modernizing environments, improving operational reliability, and supporting business-critical technology needs. You will guide a technical team through cloud migration efforts, strengthen automation and infrastructure standards, and partner closely with engineering leadership to enable new capabilities. The position also carries responsibility for managed services execution, including SLA ownership, security alignment, and consistent production support outcomes. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $110,000 – $125,000 annually Responsibilities Lead and grow a team of systems and DevOps engineers, including hiring as needed Set priorities and performance expectations for team members Own the strategy for migrating private cloud infrastructure to AWS Direct infrastructure management during and after the migration process Champion infrastructure-as-code and automation practices Partner with engineering leadership to provision infrastructure for AI capabilities Ensure compliance with security and operational standards Qualifications Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience 7+ years in infrastructure/systems engineering, with 2+ years in a management role Hands-on experience with cloud and virtualization platforms, especially AWS migrations Strong knowledge of Windows Server, networking, and disaster recovery practices Experience in IT managed services or MSP-style service delivery, including SLA ownership Familiarity with SRE and DevOps practices for production operations Proven ability to build and retain a technical team Benefits Competitive compensation and benefits package with annual bonus and stock options 100% remote work environment Annual stipend for office-related expenses Extensive learning and development programs Access to knowledge and support within the portfolio Employee Assistance Program and educational assistance Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
