About the role
As a key leader in the IT Change Management Office (CMO), you will be responsible for building change management capability within the BTS organization and enabling the organizational change management workstream for BTS-led projects. You will collaborate with senior IT and business leaders to ensure end-user adoption of IT-led changes throughout the business.
What You’ll Work On
- Leading BTS Change Management Community of Practice: Manage membership, programming, governance, and structure for BTS CM CoE and CoP, providing resources to seasoned OCM practitioners and promoting interest in OCM across all functions
- Building OCM Capability: Build and deliver OCM methodology training, OCM onboarding for new-to-BTS OCM practitioners, and knowledge sessions for the wider BTS and Abbott community
- OCM triage for BTS projects: Work with BTS delivery teams to provide OCM effort estimates and resourcing options based on project complexity
- OCM sourcing for BTS projects: Work directly with OCM suppliers to source OCM staffing as needed for BTS projects
- OCM strategy and execution delivery: Provide direct project support with OCM deliverables for select BTS-led internal projects, either during planning stage (Phase 0) or for the full project life-cycle
- Change Management Coaching & Consulting: Provide coaching and consulting services to BTS employees related to managing organizational change, either within specific project contexts or ad-hoc on demand
- Maintaining tools, templates & knowledge resources: Maintain and promote updated repository of OCM tools, templates, and examples for consistent use across projects
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Organizational Development, Learning and Development, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in OCM, preferably in a technology or IT environment
- Strong experience building and delivering OCM methodology training
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence senior stakeholders, and manage complex programs
- Certification in ADKAR, La Marsh, or other organizational change management models
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building learning content and computer based trainings
- Experience in healthcare, medical device, or other regulated industries
- Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience working in large, global, matrixed organizations
Pay
The base pay for this position is $99,300.00 – $198,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.

This is an onsite role at Abbott location in IL. This is not a remote role/opportunity.
