Manager, Integrated Data Analytics
About the Role
The Integrated Data Analytics Manager leads team(s) that develop Enterprise Data Assets and maintain the accessibility, sustainability, documentation, and accuracy of these assets for business users. In collaboration with the director, this role works with stakeholders—including executive, product, data, and design teams—to enable data analytics and its supporting delivery infrastructure. Responsibilities include developing site/service goals, collaborating with team members to improve services, and supporting the management team. The role also involves resource planning, fiscal performance, budget management, and achieving organizational goals. Along with other managers, this position defines policies and procedures to support high-quality data assets and facilitates the development and implementation of data quality standards, data protection standards, and adoption requirements across the enterprise. The manager regularly assesses asset usage and viability to reduce technical debt and participates in overall business planning, budgeting, and policy development for the Integrated Data Analytics (IDA) team.
Responsibilities
- Establishes departmental goals, objectives, performance, and production standards to assure quality.
- Acts as a customer advocate, providing ongoing communication with customers, staff, and multidisciplinary teams regarding customer, staff, management, quality care issues, and departmental goals.
- Leads tactical planning for assigned areas and participates in the preparation and management of annual operating plans and budgets.
- Develops capital and operational budgets, monitors and controls budgets, analyzes variances, and takes appropriate action.
- Develops plans for productivity improvements.
- Collaborates with leadership to foster a culture of performance excellence in care, practice, service, and operational indicators.
- Champions an atmosphere that exemplifies transformational care and service outcomes for internal and external customers.
- Encourages staff involvement in committees, projects, and continuous improvement activities.
- Holds staff accountable for high performance against job descriptions, policies, procedures, controls, and corporate/divisional guidelines.
- Ensures retention of talent in a demanding 24/7/365 technology environment by understanding individual retention factors and applying creative, approved methods (e.g., flexible work schedules, educational opportunities) to promote work/life balance while meeting service levels.
- Mentors, coaches, and develops staff, acting as a role model and resource.
- Engages in continuous professional development, including studying best practices, reading industry literature, and attending conferences, seminars, and meetings to maintain competence and knowledge.
- Ensures the department is staffed appropriately to meet customer needs, including maintaining payroll information, interviewing, hiring, and retaining staff, monitoring performance, and initiating disciplinary action or termination in consultation with Human Resources.
- Manages team(s) responsible for developing Enterprise Data Assets and maintaining their accessibility, sustainability, documentation, and accuracy for business users.
- Facilitates the development and implementation of data quality and data protection standards across the enterprise.
- Regularly assesses asset usage and viability to reduce technical debt.
Requirements
- 3 years of relevant supervisory, management, or project leadership experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in health care management, business, finance, health services research, computer science, mathematics, statistics, informatics, biostatistics, nursing, or another related healthcare field.
- Master’s Degree or equivalent in a related field (preferred).
- 5 years of relevant experience in healthcare, business, information services, or data analytics.
- 3 years of proven expertise in producing reports for multiple audiences, including boards of directors, administration, physician, and nursing leadership.
- 3 years of experience in data extraction from clinical information systems.
- 3 years of experience managing teams with disparate roles and focuses, and directing the work of others.

Schedule
- Full-time, day shift (8 a.m. to 5 p.m.).
- 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- No weekend work required.
