Position Summary

The Manager Informatics oversees the informatics team and collaborates with IT, clinical leadership, and other departments to design, implement, and maintain clinical applications. This role serves as a bridge between clinicians and technology, ensuring the seamless integration and optimization of clinical systems to enhance patient care. The Manager leads strategic initiatives, including regulatory compliance, system optimizations, and vendor relationships, to support the organization's goals of providing safe, effective, and high-quality care.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in nursing, informatics, or a related healthcare field.

  • 5 years of experience in clinical informatics, health information technology, or a related healthcare environment.

  • Experience managing interdisciplinary projects and teams involving healthcare providers, hospital leadership, and IT professionals.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading clinical informatics projects in a healthcare setting.

  • Experience with EHR implementation, optimization, and support.

Licenses/Certifications

  • Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Pharmacist (RPh) in the state of Illinois by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.

  • Epic certification or experience with clinical application systems is highly preferred.

  • Certifications such as Nursing Informatics or Epic Willow.

Benefits

The expected pay range for this position is $49.73 - $65.89 per hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills, and internal equity. This is a salaried position.
