Manager, Indirect Tax - Property Tax

Job Summary

Join our Indirect Tax - Property Tax team as a Strategic and Creative Tax Manager. This role combines tax consulting solutions and innovative technologies to align the tax function with business objectives. Applications close on May 31, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop strong client relationships on various property tax consulting and/or compliance engagements.
• Provide guidance to clients on complex property tax issues, including business restructuring and due diligence projects.
• Analyze property tax considerations and potential impacts.
• Perform in-depth reviews of complex property tax returns.
• Assist with drafting and presenting new proposals to clients.
• Provide guidance and mentorship for the development of the engagement team.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years experience working in property tax and with property tax assessors.
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
• Ability to travel up to 10% based on the work done and clients served.
• One of the following active accreditations: CPA, Enrolled Agent, CMI, MAI, ASA, CRE, CCIM, Licensed Texas Senior Property Tax Consultant.
• Prior consulting experience from a large property tax practice.
• Thorough understanding of PTMS and OneSource Property Tax.
• Experience with property tax compliance, tax planning, tax analysis, and related tax research.
• Experience managing a team and acting as the first point of contact with clients.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree such as Masters of Tax, JD, or LLM.
• Previous consulting experience from a large property tax practice.
• Thorough understanding of PTMS and OneSource Property Tax.
• Experience with property tax compliance, tax planning, tax analysis, and related tax research.
• Experience managing a team and acting as first point of contact with clients.
