Manager in Development
About the role
We are seeking motivated individuals with a passion for outdoor work and a drive to lead to join our Manager in Development program at Yellowstone Landscape. This program provides aspiring leaders with hands-on experience, comprehensive training, and mentorship from industry experts across all aspects of the landscape industry, including maintenance, construction, design, irrigation, fertilization, pest control, and plant identification. As a Manager in Development, you'll learn to manage teams, oversee projects, and drive operational excellence, putting you on the path to a management role.
Responsibilities
- Work with a mentor to develop your own management style
- Gain hands-on field experience with our crews
- Participate in monthly Branch Management meetings and review company financials
- Engage in professional development opportunities to build skills and confidence
- Learn effective client interaction and communication
- Assist with job setup, client setup, and crew assignments
- Create proposals and assist with sales
- Understand safety protocols and key company software (Aspire)
Requirements
- Certificates, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s in Plant Science, Horticultural Sciences, Business, or related field preferred
- Interest in learning all aspects of the landscape management industry
- Can-do attitude and strong work ethic
- Clean driving record
- Strong communication skills
