About the role

We are seeking motivated individuals with a passion for outdoor work and a drive to lead to join our Manager in Development program at Yellowstone Landscape. This program provides aspiring leaders with hands-on experience, comprehensive training, and mentorship from industry experts in maintenance, construction, design, irrigation, fertilization, pest control, and plant identification. The role puts you on the path to a management position, offering opportunities to develop leadership skills, manage teams, oversee projects, and drive operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Work with a mentor to develop your own management style
Gain hands-on field experience with our crews
Participate in monthly Branch Management meetings and review company financials
Engage in professional development opportunities to build skills and confidence
Learn effective client interaction and communication
Assist with job setup, client setup, and crew assignments
Create proposals and assist with sales
Understand safety protocols and company software (Aspire and key tools)

Requirements

Certificates, Associate’s, or Bachelor’s in Plant Science, Horticultural Sciences, Business, or related field preferred
Interest in learning all aspects of the landscape management industry
Can-do attitude and strong work ethic
Clean driving record
Strong communication skills
