The Imaging Manager manages clinical operations of specific areas of the Imaging Department, including equipment, personnel, scheduling, financial, and customer service functions.

  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - Breast (RDMS-BR) - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - Abdomen (RDMS-AB) - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer - Fetal Echocardiography (RDCS-FE) - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
  • Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - Obstetrics and Gynecology (RDMS-OB/GYN) - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)

Responsibilities

  • Manage and direct the daily operation of assigned areas and staff.
  • Develop and foster collaboration among clinical departments and affiliated services to ensure an integrated and coordinated approach to providing Imaging services and resolution of customer complaints or problems.
  • Collaborate with physicians and staff to resolve problems and provide advice concerning technical procedures, techniques, and equipment.
  • Assume responsibility for personnel-related duties, including interviewing, disciplinary actions, payroll reporting, scheduling paid leave, and enforcing required rules and regulations.
  • Monitor employee performance and ensure timely communications for goal setting, performance evaluations, wage increases, and continued personnel actions.
  • Ensure all employees are properly oriented, trained, and that annual competencies, certifications, licensure, and education requirements are current.
  • Ensure all personnel are properly trained on equipment and competent in its use.
  • Develop budget recommendations and monitor budget activities.
  • Manage X-ray, CT, and MRI professionals.
  • Oversee operational budget for X-ray, CT, and MRI.
  • Oversee capital equipment purchases for X-ray, CT, and MRI.
  • Develop best practices with radiologist and interdisciplinary assistance for X-ray, CT, and MRI.
  • Monitor quality and dose reduction initiatives in X-ray and CT.

Pay

The compensation range for this position is $48.18 per hour - $82.87 per hour.
