About the role
Seeking a Manager of Imaging and Radiology to oversee a large, multidisciplinary department in a modern medical facility.
Responsibilities
- Managing daily operations, budgets, supply orders, and equipment maintenance.
- Leading and developing a team of 60-75 employees, conducting performance reviews, and fostering employee growth.
- Partnering with internal departments to improve workflows and resolve member concerns.
- Monitoring exam volumes and access, drafting business and capital cases, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience as a radiologic technologist or related field, and 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Graduate of an accredited imaging program or relevant experience; high school diploma or GED required.
- Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, Sonographer, Radiologic Technologist, or equivalent.
Skills and additional requirements
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, managed care, and hospital accreditation.
- Strong leadership, communication, collaboration, and change management skills.
- Financial management abilities and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and participate in on-call rotations.
