Duties

  • Manages, develops, and mentors a small team that is supporting assigned business units or regions by promoting, communicating, and implementing human resources strategies and initiatives, while building and maintaining influential relationships.
  • Consultative human resource partner, providing value added support and guidance to employees and all levels of management.
  • Partners with leaders to develop and implement proactive strategies to strengthen culture, productivity, and engagement within the workforce.
  • Partner with HR teams (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, Organization Development, Operations) to support the design and deployment of programs as well as be a change advocate to help drive these initiatives into the business.
  • Lead and serve on cross-functional project teams to design and execute multiple targeted HR initiatives to support business objectives.
  • Coaches senior leadership regarding overall organizational talent management including talent assessment, performance management and employee development to meet the strategic needs of the business.
  • Analyzes various sources of data (exit interview, turnover, engagement, diversity) to proactively identify trends and develop strategies with senior leaders to address findings.
  • Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures and workforce planning to support the strategic objectives of the business.
  • Acts as contact for employees and all levels of management for questions regarding ethics and compliance.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of four (4) years Human Resource experience
  • A minimum of two years of labor relations experience including resolution of complex employee relation issues, grievance handling, etc. preferred.
  • Two years of experience developing and implementing successful HR strategies.
  • Strongly Preferred, experience providing HR leadership role for multiple sites.
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, federal and state respective employment law
  • Education: HS Diploma or GED.
  • Bachelor's Degree in HR Management Certification, preferred.
  • Professional in Human Resources Certification (PHR), preferred.
