About the role
The Graphic Design Manager is a visionary creative lead, brand strategist, and strategic visual storyteller responsible for bridging the gap between complex healthcare operations and high-impact communication.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and produce high-quality visionary assets across digital, print, and environmental platforms.
- This includes patient education materials (B2C), social media campaigns, sales collateral (B2B), and internal (B2E) events and activations.
- Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership. Bring an ethereal, visionary approach to our brand identity. Lead creative "pitches," presenting overarching brand concepts and rationale to executive stakeholders, defending creative decisions with data-driven insights, and translating leadership vision into actionable, high-level design strategies.
- Partner with leaders to translate complex data into intuitive visual narratives. Design audience-centric materials that explain kidney care clearly while maintaining professional quality for all stakeholders.
- Lead the design and animation of executive-level presentations. Use advanced PowerPoint features and design tools to create "show-style" decks for large-scale events, investor meetings, and physician conferences, ensuring they align with broader brand strategy.
- Champion DaVita’s brand identity across all media. Manage and evolve a library of scalable templates. Utilize project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet) to track workstreams, manage deadlines, and collaborate efficiently with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Communications, or related field (Required).
- Experience: 6 to 8+ years of professional design experience, with a heavy emphasis on brand strategy, corporate B2B, consumer-facing (B2C), and Executive Presentation/Pitch Design (Required).
- Technical Proficiency: Microsoft 365: Expert-level PowerPoint (Advanced animation, template architecture). Proficiency in Word and Outlook (Required). Adobe Creative Cloud: Mastery of Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop (Required). Project Management: Familiarity with tools like Smartsheet, Workfront, Wrike, or Asana to manage complex workflows (Required).
- Portfolio: Must showcase brand strategy, advanced presentation work, motion/animation examples, and evidence of visual storytelling for both executive and stakeholder audiences (Required).
