Cherry Bekaert is seeking a growth-oriented Manager to join our Government Contractor Advisory practice and help clients strengthen compliance, audit readiness, pricing, contract administration and business system requirements across federal programs. This fully remote U.S. based role is ideal for a client-focused professional who brings strong project management, leadership skills and an interest in contributing to business development. As a Manager, You Will Serve as a trusted advisor to government contractor clients, helping them navigate all phases of the contract and grant management lifecycle and address complex compliance and operational challengesLead compliance and gap assessments involving FAR, DFARS, CAS and related federal requirementsSupport client interactions with DCAA, DCMA and other agency auditorsReview solicitation clauses, contract terms and award requirements to help clients understand obligations and risksProvide proposal, pricing, estimating and cost or price analysis supportSupport contract modifications, bid protests, requests for equitable adjustments, claims and contract closeoutsHelp clients develop processes, policies, procedures, internal controls and training that support strong contract and grant managementProvide leadership to team members through coaching, mentoring, professional development, and performance feedbackBuild and maintain relationships with executive stakeholders while contributing to business development and practice growth initiatives What You Bring To The Role Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, with knowledge of accounting principles; Certified Public Accountant (CPA) desiredMinimum 5 years of demonstrated experience performing compliance, contract or grant management, contract administration, auditing, or advising organizations subject to FAR, CAS, Uniform Guidance, DFARS or other federal regulationsExperience interfacing with DCAA, DCMA, and other agency auditors on behalf of clients (pre-award SF 1408 accounting system reviews, business system audits, floor checks, and paid voucher reviews)Working knowledge of the six DFARS Contractor Business Systems, including the ability to evaluate adequacy, identify deficiencies and support remediationExperience preparing or reviewing incurred cost submissions, provisional or forward pricing billing rates and indirect rate structuresFamiliarity with FAR Part 31 cost principles, cost allowability and allocability, and CAS Disclosure StatementsExperience with pricing, cost or price analysis, requests for equitable adjustments, claims, terminations, Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) or IPP is a plusAbility to travel for client work as needed, not expected to exceed 15% What You Can Expect From Us Our shared values that foster inclusion and belonging including uncompromising integrity, collaboration, trust, and mutual respectThe opportunity to innovate and do work that motivates and engages youA collaborative environment focused on enabling you to further your career growth and continuous professional developmentCompetitive compensation and a total rewards package that focuses on all aspects of your wellbeingFlexibility to do impactful work and the time to enjoy your life outside of workOpportunities to connect and learn from professionals from different backgrounds and with different cultures Benefits Information Cherry Bekaert cares about our people. Individual salaries within this range are determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education, knowledge, skills, and geographic location.
