About the role
We’re looking for Manager, Global Workforce Planning Excellence for Amer Sports’ office in New York.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end workforce planning cadence (long-range strategic planning, annual business planning, quarterly forecasting), ensuring milestones, dependencies, and deliverables are met across key stakeholders.
- Drive change management for new planning processes and tools by designing and delivering communication strategies and training programs that leverage best practices to maximize user adoption and engagement.
- Secure compliant usage of workforce related data and access management
- Drive adoption and enhancements of the current workforce planning process and planner experience enabling efficient usage and forecast accuracy, developing and maintaining playbooks for planning processes
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of global plans by establishing and monitoring planning policies, forecast timelines, data quality standards, and centralized planning assumptions
- Build relationships to work effectively across HR and Finance stakeholders from Brands, Regions and Group Functions globally, serve as the primary liaison to ensure alignment on process and targets as well as maintain a proactive dialogue anticipating future needs.
- Partner with the system administration team to scale the planning platform and drive technical solution implementations
- Support strategic projects and analyses such as driver-based scenario modeling for workforce and related people costs, variance analysis and other HR projects as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Business Administration, or similar
- Proven experience (5+ years) in managing complex, cross-functional processes, ideally within HR or Finance
- Hands-on experience in workforce planning, forecasting, and budgeting/planning processes
- Strong program and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
- Strong analytical mindset, with experience in data modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, with experience in financial or workforce planning tools
- In-depth knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, financial modeling, and forecasting approaches.
- Experience working with financial planning systems such as OneStream or Oracle.

Pay
A reasonable estimate of the pay range is $120,000 - $145,000 per year at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education, geography, and/or training.
