About the role
An international consumer products company located near the Los Angeles airport is looking for a Cost Accounting & Financial Reporting Manager.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and reconcile global balance sheets
- Help build a global AI reporting model
- Develop internal financial reporting tools using AI
- Upload and prepare complex journal entries
- Perform account reconciliations
- Calculate gross profit rates
- Review and analyze manufacturing plant financials
- Manage inventory
- Collaborate with corporate business partners and regional staff members
- Work closely with internal and external audit teams
- Conduct ad hoc reporting duties
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- Public accounting background is required
- Big 4 experience is extremely preferred
- At least six years of experience is required
- High level of technical accounting knowledge
- Excellent analytical, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Strong systems background — Power BI, SQL, CoPilot, Oracle, advanced Excel, etc.
Pay
$130 – 145k + bonus.
