Manager, Global Compliance

About the role

The Law, Policy, and Integrity team at TelevisaUnivision is seeking a Global Compliance Manager to join our team. Our Global Compliance program promotes ethical business conduct and compliance with the law. The Manager will report to the VP of Global Compliance and collaborate with colleagues in the US and Mexico.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of compliance policies, procedures, and controls.
• Draft clear and comprehensive compliance policies and procedures and communicate them across the organization.
• Develop and manage compliance training programs using learning management systems like Workday Learning.
• Conduct regular compliance risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate identified risks, considering jurisdiction-specific requirements.
• Maintain monitoring and reporting on compliance with laws and regulations, including tracking trends from internal reports and investigations to identify systemic risks and recommend remediation actions.
• Ensure appropriate handling of sensitive and personal data in coordination with Data Privacy and Information Security teams.
• Collaborate with various departments to integrate compliance considerations into business processes.
• Support the department’s objectives by engaging in a diverse range of responsibilities across different jurisdictions, aligning with local legal and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in corporate compliance program management.
• Experience in building and managing comprehensive compliance programs, including drafting policies, procedures, and controls.
• Demonstrated experience in program management, leading and supporting compliance investigations.
• Experience managing learning management systems, with proficiency in Workday Learning.
• Bachelor’s degree in law, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A Master's degree or professional certifications in compliance (e.g., CCEP) is advantageous.
• In-depth understanding of legal compliance frameworks and best practices in a corporate setting.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office products, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
