About the role
The Manager of Fund Accounting role at SS&C Technologies is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing multiple hedge fund client relationships and ensuring the accurate delivery of complex fund accounting services.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop accounting teams, managing client expectations, and overseeing critical deliverables including NAVs, financial statements, investor allocations, and waterfall calculations.
- Play a key role in reviewing fund documents, supporting audits, and contributing to new business initiatives.
- Drive operational excellence, strengthen client relationships, and guide staff through technical and performance development in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the financial services industry, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
