Manager, Formulation & Manufacturing Support
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop manufacturing supervisors to drive accountability and execution discipline
- Own batch readiness including equipment, materials, documentation, and area setup
- Ensure full GMP compliance including deviations, CAPAs, and documentation
- Serve as Manufacturing interface with MSAT, Quality, Supply Chain, and clients
- Drive continuous improvement using structured problem-solving (DMAIC, Lean)
- Directly manage two Manufacturing Supervisors and indirectly support manufacturing support personnel
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or engineering discipline
- 5+ years GMP manufacturing support experience
- 2+ years leadership experience
- Strong experience in GMP compliance, batch records, and deviation management
- Execution leadership
- People development
- Operational discipline
- Strong communication and problem solving
- GMP compliance mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- Biologics manufacturing experience
- Client-facing experience
- Leverage Lean / Six Sigma experience
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This role is a full-time onsite position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm PST unless otherwise stated by Supervisor. The employee must also have the ability to work overtime and/or weekends when necessary.
Compensation
We offer competitive compensation packages for this role, including a base salary, performance-based bonuses, and comprehensive benefits such as health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off. The compensation range for this role is $116,800 - $146,000 annually depending on experience and qualifications.
