About the role
The Foodservice Manager will provide support and training to the Operations Team of our Minuteman Food Marts and Minuteman Kitchens. This position is responsible for planning, implementing, training, and supporting all foodservice-related activities for assigned Minuteman Food Mart locations. You will ensure guest experience, product production, inventory, sales, marketing, and financial performance expectations are met. This role requires open availability to support the business needs of the company and ensure each location operates within established operational guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Assist District and Store Managers to meet financial objectives based on annual budget forecasts; analyze variances, identify corrective actions, monitor financial controls, and develop strategies to increase profitability.
- Monitor and review month-to-month and year-to-year financial information for each location to ensure financial targets are met.
- Develop action plans for underperforming locations to improve profitability.
- Monitor and manage the company’s KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) daily, weekly, and monthly to ensure achievement at the store level.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships, encourage and develop programs to provide learning and training opportunities for store managers to ensure execution of company plans and continued skill development.
- Work with HR to conduct annual reviews for all direct reports.
- Train, develop, expand, and ensure quality control of commissary programs (Burney’s Sweets Express).
- Oversee training, quality control, sales/inventory validation, and brand compliance for Little Caesars Express and other franchise food programs.
- Assist in developing and implementing marketing, advertising, public and community relations programs to drive top-line sales growth at each location.
- Maintain foodservice standards by evaluating and auditing prepared food and beverage offerings to ensure programs are executed as planned.
- Work with the Director of Safety to ensure a safe environment for customers and co-workers.
- Lead new program development, training, and rollouts.
- Manage remodels, new builds, technology, and equipment upgrades as assigned.
- Provide training and ensure compliance with food safety standards, including food handler certifications, ServSafe certifications, temperature logs, and proper food handling.
- Serve as the point of contact for all regulatory agencies (Health Departments) and ensure compliance with state and federal laws, rules, and regulations.
- Direct and coordinate all new applications and corrective activities related to regulatory agencies.
- Support inventory management processes and procedures to ensure cost/margin targets are achieved.
- Review and evaluate usage/sales reports, analyze variances, and implement corrective action plans as needed.

Requirements
- Minimum of a High School Diploma; college degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of multi-unit management experience in a QSR restaurant or high-volume retail/c-store with significant foodservice sales, or equivalent experience within Minuteman Food Marts.
- Business casual dress code.
- Detail-oriented with strong communication skills for interacting with subordinates, peers, and company managers.
- Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in varying temperature ranges.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
