About the role
Hanwha Energy USA is seeking a highly analytical Manager, Finance Structuring to support the development, evaluation, and execution of financing solutions across renewable energy, battery storage, power generation, and energy infrastructure investments. The Manager will work closely with the Director of Finance Structuring and internal stakeholders to evaluate financing alternatives, build financial models, support transaction execution, and assist in optimizing project capital structures.
Responsibilities
- Financial Modeling & Analysis
- Develop and maintain project finance and investment models.
- Analyze project returns, financing structures, and capital deployment scenarios.
- Perform sensitivity analyses and evaluate key project assumptions.
- Support financial planning and transaction underwriting activities.
- Transaction Execution
- Assist in the structuring and execution of debt, tax equity, and strategic financing transactions.
- Coordinate due diligence activities with lenders, investors, consultants, and legal counsel.
- Support negotiation and review of financing agreements and transaction documentation.
- Manage transaction workstreams to ensure successful execution.
- Capital Structure Optimization
- Evaluate financing alternatives and recommend optimal solutions.
- Assess project-level and portfolio-level financing strategies.
- Support refinancing, recapitalization, and portfolio optimization efforts.
- Analyze market conditions and financing trends.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with development, investments, accounting, tax, treasury, and legal teams.
- Prepare executive presentations and investment committee materials.
- Provide financial analysis supporting strategic business decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
- 5–8 years of experience in project finance, investment banking, infrastructure finance, corporate finance, or structured finance.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Knowledge of debt financing, project finance, and investment analysis.
- Ability to manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications (Preferred)
- MBA, CFA, CPA, or advanced degree.
- Renewable energy, power generation, battery storage, or data center financing experience.
- Experience supporting debt, tax equity, and institutional financing transactions.
- Knowledge of energy markets and infrastructure investments.
Pay
$140,000 - $155,000 salary
