About the Role

The Manager, Financial Operations will report directly to the Director, Financial Operations and be responsible for leading key financial planning, forecasting, and reporting activities across the System.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute the quarterly static forecasting process for the System, including analysis to target, trending, and data analysis.
• Assist in financial and operational business planning, including supporting annual capital threshold business plan submissions and ad hoc capital requests.
• Manage the strategic financial planning process with support from the Director and Vice President of Financial Operations, covering coordination, communication, data analysis, and analytics.
• Oversee mid-month forecasting for the System, incorporated into rolling forecasting.
• Manage all management reporting functionality and variance analysis system-wide; ensure data integrity, stakeholder communication, and accountability measures.
• Track and report on TogetherLead initiative performance, variances to budget, and related metrics.
• Collaborate with the Financial Operations team to evaluate forecasting accuracy and incorporate improvements into future modeling.
• Manage productivity, budgeted FTEs, and other financial and operational metrics.
• Coach and develop staff within the Financial Operations team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Ten (10) years of experience in a management role; previous experience in public accounting preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of US GAAP and the healthcare industry.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; experience with Peoplesoft or Oracle Planning preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and resolve conflicts.
• Experience with capital expenditure and budgeting.

Work Environment

• Exposure Class I or II, with limited risk of exposure to situations that could cause illness or injury.
• May involve exposure to blood, body fluids, excretions, or secretions.
• Medium physical demand: occasional lifting, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling.

Pay

Pay range: $47.50–$71.25 per hour, based on experience and location.
