Position Summary

The (USA) Manager, Fashion Finance plays a critical role in driving financial planning and analysis by preparing detailed financial models, recommending expense targets, and evaluating business performance in collaboration with cross-functional teams. This position ensures robust financial controls, enhances reporting transparency, and supports senior management with insightful forecasts and variance explanations.

About the team

The Walmart U.S. General Merchandise Finance team partners closely with our Fashion business to provide strategic financial planning and analysis. This team delivers insightful financial models, monitors business performance, and supports decision-making through clear communication with cross-functional partners. They manage risk by ensuring robust controls and enhance reporting transparency. The team collaborates with senior management to align business goals with financial objectives, driving continuous improvement. Members are committed to maintaining high standards of integrity and professionalism while fostering a collaborative environment focused on achieving results and supporting business growth.

What you'll do

  • Provide strategic input to financial planning through detailed analysis, modeling, and expense target recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to monitor business performance and communicate significant financial variations.
  • Manage complex control structures to mitigate financial risks and enhance reporting transparency.
  • Develop financial models and presentations to support business decisions and communicate forecasts to senior management.
  • Partner with leadership to identify performance gaps, support budgeting, and provide insights on trends and risks.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop associates while ensuring compliance with company policies and ethical standards.
  • Foster strong stakeholder relationships to support business goals and continuous improvement initiatives.

What you'll bring

  • Proven expertise in financial analysis, planning, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Strong management skills with experience in supervising, mentoring, and developing team members.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
  • Experience in developing financial models and preparing presentations for business case evaluations.
  • Demonstrated capability to manage financial controls and mitigate risks of misstatement.
  • Collaborative approach to partnering with stakeholders to align business goals and financial objectives.
  • Commitment to integrity, ethics, and compliance in all financial processes and reporting.

  • The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 2 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or relevant area OR 4 years’ experience i n accounting, finance, or related area.
