About the role

The Calvin Klein Visual Merchaging Manager oversees the execution of the Americas' visual guidelines across assigned stores to enhance profitability and boost brand awareness and equity in the Florida/Puerto Rico markets. This role requires close collaboration with visual merchandising, production, and field leadership teams to align on visual merchandising directives and meet business and customer objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Merchandising/Brand Excellence:
    • Participate in floor sets with key business partners, providing timely feedback, ideas, and solutions to elevate the customer experience and financial ROI.
    • Conduct regular visits to retail and wholesale locations to evaluate visual merchandising execution, offering constructive feedback and support to store and wholesale managers.
    • Identify business opportunities with Field Partners and managers to develop visual merchandising action plans that align with the company's goals.
    • Adapt and execute window and in-store guidelines to drive business success.
    • Collaborate with stores to enhance sales through strategic visual merchandising decisions.
    • Analyze sales data and customer feedback to evaluate the effectiveness of visual merchandising strategies and make data-driven recommendations for improvements.
  • Training:
    • Train and mentor store teams on visual merchandising techniques and best practices for consistency across stores.
    • Develop in-store VM on core skills to include communication, time & organization, and partnership.
    • Conduct additional training for management and staff as needed.
    • Educate teams on all visual merchandising trends for the season.
  • Communication:
    • Manage the flow of communication between the Head of Field VM, the field organization, and stores through weekly conference calls, touch bases, store visits, and training seminars to support company guidelines.
    • Influence field leadership to recognize how visual merchandising affects conversion rates and enhances customer experience.
    • Provide feedback, solutions, and insights on visual merchandising strategies.
    • Persistently partner cross-functionally with the VM office team to ensure clear, consistent communication and seamless rollout of new initiatives and field strategies.
    • Foster communication within the FVM team.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of visual merchandising experience in the fashion industry.
  • Experience in the Florida/Puerto Rico markets, a plus.
  • Spanish proficiency, a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic/interior/fashion design or visual merchandising.
  • Proven experience in visual merchandising within a retail environment, preferably in a managerial role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the Ability to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Strong creative skills with a keen eye for aesthetics and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated and able to work under high pressure.
  • Awareness of fashion trends and the capability to translate them into visual merchandising.
  • Strong understanding of symmetrical vs. asymmetrical designs regarding fixturing and wall-scaping.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).

Qualifications

  • Ability to interpret visual merchandising presentations and adapt them to various store designs and architectures.
  • Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
  • Visual Merchandisers may travel up to 80% of the time.
  • Physical capability to lift as required.
  • Strong work ethic.
