Manager Field Safety

For our client, we are seeking a Manager Field Safety to join the team of a leader in the Energy & Utilities space. This role will lead field safety efforts across multiple regions, helping ensure operational teams are supported by strong safety programs, compliance practices, and risk mitigation strategies. The position partners closely with operational leadership to align safety initiatives with business goals and to drive meaningful improvement in safety performance. You will oversee a team of regional safety managers and provide strategic guidance on incident prevention, corrective action, and continuous improvement. This is a highly visible role focused on protecting people, strengthening field operations, and advancing a culture of safety. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000 annually Responsibilities Lead and develop a team of Region Safety Managers to ensure effective safety programs Partner with operational leadership to align safety strategies with organizational goals Provide strategic consultation on safety initiatives, compliance, and risk mitigation Oversee implementation and improvement of safety programs across multiple regions Monitor safety metrics and recommend enhancements to reduce risk Conduct incident investigations and ensure effective corrective actions are in place Manage departmental resources and budgets to effectively support field operations Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field required 10+ years of progressively responsible safety experience 2+ years of experience leading and developing safety professionals across different locations Strong knowledge of OSHA, DOT, and relevant safety regulations Proven ability to influence and partner with leadership to enact safety change Benefits Travel required to support field operations across multiple regions Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
