About the role

The Manager, Field Infrastructure is responsible for leading the global delivery, support, and standardization of field technology systems across all office locations, ensuring seamless AV, security, and infrastructure operations.

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Operations
    • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of field infrastructure technicians and specialists supporting ~56 offices globally.
    • Establish clear performance goals, conduct regular 1:1s, and lead annual performance review processes, including annual and bi-annual.
    • Build and maintain escalation procedures, on-call coverage schedules, and incident response protocols.
    • Serve as the primary point of escalation for complex or high-priority field infrastructure issues.
    • Maintain clear, proactive communication and a strong working relationship with the Office Managing Shareholder (OMS) and Office Administrator (OA) at each location — serving as the trusted local point of contact for field technology needs, project updates, and issue resolution.
    • Ensure that all procedures, policies, documentation, and training materials are current, accurate, and updated in real time — maintaining a reliable knowledge base that reflects the latest standards, configurations, and operational practices across all office locations.
    • Attend monthly 1 on 1 meetings with the Sr. Director – Client Technology to keep them informed of any issues, new or recurring, in the environment.
  • AV & Conference Room Technology
    • Oversee installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of AV systems in conference rooms, training rooms, and public spaces firm-wide.
    • Standardize conferencing technology platforms (e.g., Zoom Rooms, video codecs, display systems) and manage lifecycle refresh planning.
    • Partner with the Real Estate, office services, and facilities teams to support room design, renovations, remodels, and new office build-outs, ensuring AV and conferencing technology is planned and deployed from the earliest stages of each project.
    • Ensure AV systems meet the needs of hybrid meetings, client presentations, and high-stakes legal proceedings.
  • Physical Security & Camera Systems
    • Ensure field infrastructure systems, configurations, and operational practices align with ISO 27001 standards, supporting the firm's information security management program and maintaining compliance across all office locations.
    • Administer and support the firm’s Verkada security platform, including access control, IP camera systems, and visitor management integrations.
    • Manage day-to-day administration of the Verkada environment: device provisioning, firmware updates, user access, and policy configuration.
    • Cook up with building management, facilities, and Office Operations to ensure security policies and camera placements comply with applicable regulations across all jurisdictions (US, Canada, Mexico, Singapore).
    • Oversee incident response involving physical security systems, working cross-functionally with Talent, Legal, Compliance, and Office Operations as needed.
  • Real Estate & Project Management
    • Lead field infrastructure projects including new office openings, relocations, remodels, and construction build-outs from scoping through completion, serving as the primary IT liaison to the Real Estate team throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Partner closely with the Real Estate team on all office moves, build-outs, remodels, and construction projects — engaging early in planning to define technology requirements, coordinate infrastructure timelines, manage contractor scopes of work, and ensure all systems are operational at go-live.
    • Manage relationships with all field infrastructure vendors and contractors, including low voltage contractors, Internet Service Providers (ISPs), A/V integrators, physical security providers, and cabling contractors — overseeing selection, onboarding, day-to-day performance, and contract renewals.
    • Develop SOWs, review proposals, and ensure project deliverables meet Littler’s standards for quality and timeline.
    • Maintain vendor SLAs and hold partners accountable for performance.
  • Standards, Documentation & Asset Management
    • Develop and maintain standardized technology configurations, installation guides, and runbooks for all field infrastructure categories.
    • Maintain accurate asset inventory for AV equipment, security hardware, and associated peripherals across all office locations.
    • Identify and drive opportunities to consolidate, standardize, or modernize field infrastructure to improve reliability and reduce operational cost.
  • Budget & Reporting
    • Assist in developing and managing the annual capital and operational budget for field infrastructure.
    • Track and report on team performance metrics including ticket resolution times, project milestones, and system uptime.
    • Provide regular updates to IT leadership on the health of field infrastructure across the office portfolio.

    Qualifications

    • Demonstrated experience managing AV/conferencing technology in a corporate or professional services environment (e.g., Zoom Rooms, Logi, Neat, or similar).
    • Hands-on experience administering the Verkada platform (access control, cameras, visitor management) or a comparable physical security system.
    • Experience supporting technology across multiple geographically distributed office locations.
    • Familiarity with low voltage infrastructure, structured cabling, and ISP/circuit management.
    • Working knowledge of network fundamentals (VLANs, PoE, structured cabling) as they relate to AV and security device connectivity.
    • Experience with ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow) for ticket management and asset tracking.
    • Experience in a law firm, professional services firm, or other regulated industry preferred.
    • Familiarity with international technology compliance considerations in Canada, Mexico, and/or Singapore preferred.

    Education and Certifications

    • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, or a related field.
