Manager - Federal Court Division (Social Security Disability) Location: Providence, RI (Remote) Job Type: Full-Time Job Description Our client is seeking an experienced, self-motivated attorney to lead and manage a growing Federal Court practice focused on Social Security disability benefits, including Supplemental Security Income (SSI) and Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) claims. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in Federal Court disability litigation, strong legal research and writing skills, and the ability to independently manage cases and oversee all aspects of the litigation process. Key Responsibilities Lead and oversee Federal Court litigation involving Social Security disability claims. Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other court filings. Prepare and pursue attorney fee petitions and handle related matters. Negotiate and communicate with the Office of General Counsel (OGC) and other relevant parties. Advise and represent clients throughout the Federal Court litigation process. Manage case strategy, court deadlines, and overall case progression. Oversee the development and growth of the Federal Court division. Qualifications Must be an attorney licensed and in good standing with an active Rhode Island or Massachusetts bar license. Admission to either state bar is required. Significant experience handling Social Security disability claims involving Federal Court litigation. Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills. Demonstrated experience drafting Federal Court pleadings and briefs. Ability to independently manage cases and demonstrate leadership. Entrepreneurial mindset with strong organizational and client communication skills.
