About the role

The ideal Facilities Manager is highly networked, customer-focused, and results-oriented, using good judgment in all decisions and committed to providing outstanding customer service. In this role, you’ll wear many hats—mentor, team advocate, and business driver—while establishing and maintaining a safety-first culture.

Responsibilities

  • Drive and promote a safety-first culture, including safe work practices, training, best practices, and recognition programs for safe behavior.
  • Oversee performance of technicians, vendors, and suppliers across multiple locations for maintenance and repair of equipment and facilities systems.
  • Build relationships with site leads, regional leadership, and business partners to establish trust and credibility in Facility Management (FM) services.
  • Uphold contract terms with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure proper delivery of goods and services.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction in FM service delivery and provide leadership to increase satisfaction.
  • Ensure completion of planned and scheduled preventive maintenance (monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual) on critical and non-critical equipment.
  • Act as the point of contact with site occupants, property management, and landlords to coordinate FM activities.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and preventive maintenance schedules (PM) to support all areas.
  • Respond to emergency calls as necessary.
  • Apply technical knowledge of HVAC, vertical transportation, restaurants, entry/signs, specialty systems (e.g., security, fire alarm), MEP, and other building elements.
  • Support leadership in driving volume and achieving operational goals, such as store sales volume or fulfillment delivery timeliness and accuracy.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Facilities Manager or equivalent role.
  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education preferred.
  • Proven track record in Facilities Management, including solid knowledge of building/mechanical and electrical systems (MEP).
  • Experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for planning, scheduling, and workstream analysis.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with customers, peers, and senior leadership.
  • Experience managing remote teams and third-party contracted services.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including handling complex issues involving multiple entities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated communication skills (written and verbal), including negotiation and conflict resolution.
  • Six Sigma, Lean, TPC, or other operational excellence methodology certifications are a plus.

Pay

Pay range: $76,500.00 - $126,500.00 annual.
