Manager Facilities Construction
Job Summary
Manages, coordinates, and exercises functional authority for planning, organization, control, integration and completion of planning, design and construction projects within AC. Has authority for staff personnel actions. Responsible for construction activities for all AC facilities. Manages construction team. Manages relationship with construction partners.
Additional Information
Oversees and manages Planning, Design and Construction Projects. Coordinates planning, design and construction project activities and disciplines with AC operations. Accountable for coaching team on all project communication between client and project team. Intercedes when issues arise to build/restore relationships. Establishes alliances with other departments and organizations by recognizing dependencies in order to assess potential partnership and commitment to the program. Maintains the knowledge necessary to develop department goals, metrics of performance and programs relevant to areas of responsibility. Responsible for Human Resource actions for reporting staff, to include hiring, firing, disciplinary actions, and annual performance evaluations.
Required Education
- High school diploma or GED or equivalent
Recommended Education
- Bachelor's degree in a related field of study.
Required Work Experience
- High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year in a leadership role.
- In lieu of a High School Diploma/GED, 7 years of experience with at least 1 year in a leadership role.

- Certified Healthcare Constructor (CHC) - American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE)
