What You Get To Do
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key business and industry groups
- Represent the company at external functions and ensure other SEA leaders are involved within the company’s strategic areas of giving and influence
- Build and foster positive relationships with key civic and community leaders and influencers
- Be knowledgeable on Florida legislative and regulatory environment and communicate threats and opportunities to VP and park presidents
- Represent the company with elected officials and legislative and regulatory staff at local, state, and federal levels.
- Primarily liaison with the company’s Florida state and local lobbyist
- Engage in Florida lobbying activities at the local and state level as well as other states and federally as needed
- Organize and escort tours for elected officials, legislative and regulatory staff
- Work with Florida lobbyist, VPs, and General Counsel, develop and implement political giving strategy
- Manage PAC administration (primary liaison with PASS)
- Support Community Relations and serve on committees and boards as needed
- Afford assistance in submitting purchase orders, contracts, and check requests
What It Takes To Succeed
- Bachelors Degree in related field
- 4+ years of Government Relations experience
- Familiarity with legislative process
- Focused self-starter with the ability to prioritize
- Strong communication and negotiating skills
