Key Responsibilities
- Establishes and maintains relationships with groups and organizations to raise awareness of organ and tissue donation.
- Expands donation awareness through advertising, public relations, digital, and social media efforts.
- Partners with community groups to promote donation and establish a presence.
- Represents the organization in community development activities and initiatives.
- Legislatively represents and protects organization interests by working with government entities.
- Develops key relationships with government and legislative leaders.
- Maintains excellent working relationships with government leaders and monitors legislative and regulatory activities.
- Collaborates with senior leadership and the OPO community on local, state, and federal regulations.
- Contributes to web and social media content and manages the Public Education Staff.
- Serves as a point of contact for community service organizations, legislative staff, and business leaders.
- Supports senior leaders with talking points, background details, and crisis communications.
- Maintains current knowledge of the donation and transplantation industry and communicates effectively with stakeholders.
The Ideal Candidate
- Ability to communicate with diverse audiences, manage projects, and develop new skills.
- Demonstrated experience with word processing, email, internet searches, database, and presentation software.
- Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
- Fluency in English and Spanish is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; Masters Degree preferred.
- Eight (8) years in marketing and communication with experience managing projects and employees.

Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with ability to pass MVR underwriting requirements.
