What To Expect

The Manager of Estimating Quality Assurance leads a dedicated team responsible for upholding the integrity and consistency of Tesla's collision estimates. This role establishes the framework for reviewing internal collision centers to ensure they comply with our gold standard of fairness, accuracy, and documentation, thereby reinforcing trust with our insurance partners and customers.

What You'll Do

  • Lead, mentor, and manage the Estimating Quality Assurance team to achieve performance and compliance goals
  • Develop and implement programs for the systematic review of collision estimates to ensure adherence to internal standards
  • Oversee the verification process to confirm that all estimates are written fairly and are supported by proper documentation for legal and internal compliance
  • Analyze findings from team reviews to identify trends, report on compliance levels, and recommend process improvements to senior leadership at the field level
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for escalations related to estimate quality and compliance
  • Collaborate with insurance relations, training, and operations teams to develop and implement corrective action plans for collision centers
  • Champion a culture of excellence and integrity, ensuring our commitment to fair costs with insurance partners is consistently met

What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within the collision repair or insurance industry, with a focus on quality control or process compliance
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Automotive Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Expert-level knowledge of collision estimating practices, industry standards, and compliance requirements
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team of specialists
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify root causes and drive strategic improvements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to report findings and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels

Expected Compensation

The expected compensation for this position ranges from $128,000 to $192,000 annually, with details of participation in these benefit plans provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
